The K2 Cross Clamp serves as both a mid and end clamp, fitting 30mm to 40mm frames. It features a non-rotating design after tightening, includes a clip for aesthetics and allows for easy removal and reinstallation of the module for service.
HOW TO INSTALL THE K2 CROSS CLAMP
To install the clamp, simply drop it into the rail and rotate it clockwise, similar to any other T-bolt or clamp that you may already use. It’s as easy as sliding it up against the module and tightening. The clamp does not rotate once it’s tightened, and no stopper sleeve is required to prevent it from tipping over. For the end-clamp, a clip is provided to create a traditional covered, finished look.
SERVICEABILITY OF THE K2 CROSS CLAMP
When making repairs to a solar panel, you can simply remove the top of the Cross Clamp while the lower piece stays intact. This ensures the spacing on your panels is maintained and makes it easier to place the repaired solar panel back into place.
