Van Meter Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA – (September 16, 2024) – Van Meter Inc., a leading distributor of electrical, automation and mechanical solutions, announced today that Scott Bjerketvedt, an experienced finance and accounting executive, has joined the company’s leadership team as Chief Financial Officer.
Scott brings more than 20 years of experience in P&L management, financial planning and analysis, acquisitions and integrations, business modeling, treasury and more.
Before joining Van Meter, Scott served in various financial leadership roles at companies including Ceridian, St. Jude Medical, Inc., Medtronic, PLC and Boortmalt. Most recently, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Ecumen, one of the United States' largest and oldest non-profit senior housing and services companies.

Scott will be based out of Van Meter’s Cottage Grove, Minnesota, location. He is assuming the responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer from Nate Jensema, who is transitioning to Chief Operating Officer for the company.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting from The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three daughters, attending concerts and skiing.
