Before the supply chain crisis, they were used as custom shops for specialty panelboards and switchboards. While they still do custom builds, Eaton has also started relying on satellite plants to expedite orders at a premium while the main plant is over capacity.

While satellite plants can’t totally fix supply chain issues, they can give you a competitive edge by helping you get more projects done in less time. They can do primary ground fault injection testing or give final approval that inspections are completed properly at your site before equipment is energized by the Utility.
Do you have an old Westinghouse switchboard and need to have an obsolete breaker replaced? Retrofit kits are available and can be installed by their services team during regular business hours or after hours if needed. They can work on older circuit breakers you are not familiar with or perform any specialty work you are not comfortable doing.
