Who is eligible?
Individuals enrolling or enrolled in a program or apprenticeship, who have completed a high school degree or GED.
Areas of focus may include, but are not limited to:
Apprenticeship in electrical trades
Two-year or four-year degree program
Engineering
Electrical distribution
Supply chain management
Solar installation
Information technology

Fill out the form below, and submit your reference by January 30, 2026. Your recommendation letter must be from someone connected to your school or work that can speak to your ability and character. Please include your reference's contact information in the letter. The recommendation letter must be uploaded with your application.

Van Meter awarded $14,000 in scholarship funds to seven individuals from across the Midwest to support their training and education needs as they pursue careers in fields related to the electrical industry.
Van Meter is again sparking the future of the electrical industry with its Spark Your Success Scholarship. The $2,000 scholarship supports up to five individuals who have completed a high school degree or GED and are pursuing a field related to the electrical trades.
Van Meter announced the 2024 scholarship winners today for the Spark Your Success Scholarship, the Barry and Gilda Boyer Power Your Future Scholarship and the Van Meter Kirkwood Scholarship. The three unique scholarship programs award students who plan to pursue a career in the electrical trade industry. This year, seven individuals will receive financial support for their training and education.
